Wai Sie's passion for papercrafting

started from her earliest childhood

memories of learning from her

grandmother to make a simple

red papercutting  decoration for 

  a Chinese New Year sweet cake.

 

Since then, she has been

continuously exploring new techniques

in paper quilling, drawing inspiration

from her childhood memories,

nostalgic feeling, books, movies,

travels, or anything that makes her feel something in the past and present.
